Friday

I’m grateful that I’m not at work today.  Good god, that was rough yesterday.  I guess I’m glad I still have a job.  I guess I’m glad my nightmares all night weren’t worse than they were.

I’m going to try taking clones today, so it’s kind of an exciting experiment to see if these clones stay alive (any of them).

Wednesday

I’m grateful that I got off work early, returned items for refunds, got groceries and am now home, where it’s thankfully cool inside the house (though it’s quite hot outside).

My new clone seems to be doing okay, too.  Yay!

Boy, I’m glad I got away from work.  There’s a lot tension and stress from Natalie and Jason.  Eck.

I’m hoping to get some good work done on my book today.  We’ll see.  At least I’m alive!

Thank you life!

I’m grateful that I got a day off from work to work on my book.  I’m grateful I already have the subsection documents all set up and ready to receive my collated notes.  Good job!

I’m grateful that I got to 1430 pages left.  I’ll be trying to get to an even 1400 today.  By the end of Sunday, I’d like to be down to 1300 pages.  And maybe I can get to 1200 pages by the end of next Tuesday (a week from now).  I’m hoping to be to an even 1000 pages of notes left to collate by Tati’s birthday on August 11 (two weeks from now).

If things go really well, I might have the Chapter 5 notes all collated by September 15th.  (That’s an average of 250 pages a week after Tati’s birthday.)  That’s a hell of a lot to do each week, but it would be nice to be done collating by the end of September.  Then I can start culling the notes for duplicates and ordering it into sub-topics.  I’m hoping to start the actual writing of Chapter 5 in November of 2015.  It would  be nice to be done with Chapter 5 by January 1st, 2016 (taking two months to write the chapter).

So what else am I grateful for?  Growing so many 420 plants outside this summer.  It’s a great adventure, and so far so good!  I’m hoping to take clones this weekend.

I’m grateful that Rich put Cody’s door in yesterday, so he can start having privacy.  It’s weird having both kids being able to shut us out now.  It’s the start of the teen years I guess.

I’m very grateful for Tanya!  As always.

I’m also very grateful to Joanne for giving us $2500 for construction costs, as well as offering to pay full tuition for the kids until Burgess’ money comes.

I’m glad I got back to three days of work instead of four.  It really lets me make progress on my book–much more than when I have four days.  I’m also glad I now only have to floor one day a week.

Everything is going great.  I’m so happy to be alive.

Best wishes, Erik
